What's Amazon Enhanced Branded Content (EBC)?
Amazon Enhanced Branded Content or (EBC for short) is a feature on Amazon that lets businesses alter or change their listing page’s product description with rich and appealing content.
It lets you add some high-quality images and text so that you can tell your brand story straight from your Amazon listing.
Therefore, Enhanced Branded Content helps you separate from your competitors and make a great first impression on your customers which results in better conversions and sales.
What Are The Requirements for Using Enhanced Branded Content?
Amazon EBC is available only for sellers that are registered in Amazon’s Brand Registry. This means if you want to use this feature, you’ll have to register your business with Amazon Brand Registry.
Getting a brand registered seller also increases your chances of getting more authority on your product listing page.
Another thing to note is that even though you can use EBC for any number of ASINs you own, you can’t have more than 20 pending submissions.
Also in order for your content to get approved or even rejected, it takes between 2 to 7 days.
How important Does Enhanced Branded Content Cost?
The Enhanced Branded Content feature is free to use for now, though it’s believed that Amazon might make it a premium feature in the future.
So if you haven’t yet taken advantage of Enhanced Branded Content, now is the time to do so.
How to Make Your First Enhanced Branded Content
Now that you know something about Amazon EBC, it’s time to start creating your own.
Then’s how you can do it
First, you ’ll have to log in to your Seller Central account. Once you’re there, you have to click the‘Advertising’ option and also choose the‘ Enhanced Branded Content’ option from the drop-down menu.
You ’ll also be asked to pick the SKU defining the Amazon Standard Identification Number of the product you ’ll be using in your Enhanced Branded Content.
When you’re done picking the SKU, you ’ll also be shown some existing templates from Amazon to organize your content.
Now all you have to do is pick the right template that will perfectly showcase the content for your products.
After selecting the template just upload the images with the actual content. You ’ll then be required to send it for verification by Amazon.
